2. I recently submitted my information for a position. What is the next step?
When you apply for a position on this site, you will receive an e-mail confirmation acknowledging our receipt of your information. We will review the submissions to identify those candidates whose experiences and qualifications most closely match the position specification. Due to the volume of responses to many of our positions, it may take several weeks before we can contact you about the status of your candidacy. We appreciate your patience as we carefully review each candidate’s background and credentials against the experience and qualifications sought. If you are identified to move forward in the process, a company representative will contact you to outline the next steps of the process. If you are not identified to move forward, you may still be contacted about other opportunities that align with your resume and / or interests.

3. Is it possible to speak with someone about my resume and job interests?
While we would love to speak with everyone who submits a resume, it is just not feasible based on the number of resumes we receive. However, if you are a good match for one of our positions, we will contact you for an interview. At that time, we would be happy to discuss your resume, job interests, or other questions you may have.

4. While I have the background that would make me a good fit for Transfreight, there are no positions available right now that I am qualified for. Should I still submit a resume?
Absolutely. That way your resume will be in our database and remain available for one year for our review when new positions become available. If we find a good match for your skills and interests, we will contact you for an interview. Click here to submit your resume for consideration.

5. When viewing job listings, I saw a position that would be perfect for one of my friends. Can I send the job to him / her?
Yes, and we hope you do. Click on the “Send this job to a friend” link at the bottom of the job listing. A popup box will appear asking for your friend’s e-mail address. Once you enter the requested information, click on “I agree” and “send.” Both you and your friend will receive an e-mail acknowledgment. Your friend must then apply for the position to be considered for it.

Transfreight does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies; we accept only candidates from those agencies that we are partnering with on a specific search.
