Erlanger, KY, October 4, 2007—Transfreight has named Alvaro Barbosa general manager for its offices in Monterrey, Mexico. Both the hiring of Barbosa and Transfreight’s recent move to expanded offices are the result of growth in several customer accounts in North America.
Barbosa has more than 15 years of comprehensive supply chain experience, having worked in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and distribution centers. He has served throughout North America and with international supply chains, with special focus on the automotive, high-tech, and consumer sectors.
“We’re pleased to have Barbosa on our team,” said Chief Development Officer Chris Painter. “His deep experience fits well with our continuing growth.”
